GM Commentary

Abbie is not becoming a Warden.

Abbie originally had Human ranked stats when she was first introduced. Ethan used Eidolon on Abbie, which would have raised her stats to Superior (the best that normal people can be). But it's clear now that Ethan has gone a step further and she now has Paragon level attributes - Abbie is clearly superhuman. She is stronger than the strongest man on Earth. She has greater endurance than the strongest man or woman on Earth. She has greater clarity of thought, mental fortitude etc than any man or woman on Earth. She's not a 'demigoddess' and she has no Ranked Stats but she is a cut above. Also she has her own ideas about our world, some of which are naive, and others which are plain dangerous. We'll see ....

As usual with Amber or Lords of Gossamer, if something is too good to be true, it probably is. We got a glimpse of this in Session 76 (you'll see when I do the writeup). David is going to get a lot of plot mileage out of this development. There are a lot of 'things' trapped on Earth, and Bartholomew Smith has worked very hard to help Grant and Ethan keep a low profile. Abbie is doing the opposite - she's clearly superhuman and she's in the public spotlight.

Cue, mayhem....
