Let's just put it this way. Grant now has a "Groot" form. He wanted to be a treant, so he became one. This inspired jokes such as calling him Branch, Stumpy and Root. But G-rant became G-ranch, then G-Root.... hence Groot.
The scary thing is that I have a LEGO Groot figure. (well, a knock-off anyway)
Anyway, lots of Eidolon and Umbra use, Grant in Groot form, a lot of rum, stealing an airship, sailing into the Heart of the Storm, and diving into the acid ocean with a weight-belt heavily laden with cannonballs..... all good fun. Stay tuned....
